Pansy Ella Myers

Our dear mother, Pansy E. Myers, age 89, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pansy was born in 1934 in Flagstaff, AZ, and lived most of her adult life in Phoenix. Pansy was married to Joseph F. Myers and they welcomed seven children into their lives.

Pansy is survived by her children, Michael Myers (Denise), Katherine James, Mark Myers, Patricia Garcia (Mike) and David Myers (Karen); grandchildren, Jessica, Lindsey, Stephen, Lucas and Chrysteena. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Myers and her sons, John Myers and Thomas Myers of Phoenix, AZ.

Her family remembers Pansy as a kind, gentle, patient and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and dreams. She was an avid collector of teapots, porcelain tea sets, Betty Boop and Hello Kitty memorabilia. She was kindhearted with a great love of old westerns. She dedicated herself to raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

The visitation will be held from 5 P.M. – 7 P.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  Mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11 A.M. at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. Burial to follow at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.
