Kevin Charles & Cynthia “Cyndy” Parks

Kevin and Cynthia Parks passed away together, while holding hands on January 16, 2022 from COVID. They were married for 44 years. Kevin, 68, was born in Phoenix AZ, attended Madison #2 Elementary School and graduated (1971) from Camelback High School. He retired from the Phoenix Fire Department in 2016 after 32 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Liesle Parks, brother Dennis, and sister Karen. He is survived by his sons James and Ryan Parks, granddaughter Faith Parks, sister Jenny, and brothers Clayton, Brian, Tom, and John. Cynthia Parks, 66, was born in Phoenix AZ, attended Lafayette Elementary School and graduated (1973) from Camelback High School. She retired from the Scottsdale Unified School District in 2021 after 31 years. The majority of her career was at Tavan Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Margaret McGinnis, and brother Patrick. She is survived by her sons James and Ryan Parks, granddaughter Faith Parks, sister Kathy Kelley, and brother Kevin McGinnis.A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. with a 6:00 P.M. Scripture Service at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd. Phoenix AZ, 85018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave, Phoenix AZ 85016. Burial to follow at Double Buttes Cemetery, 2505 W. Broadway Rd., Tempe AZ 85282.
