Patricia K. Dooley

Phoenix- Patricia Dooley, 67, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on September 26, 2024, while in hospice resulting from a cancer diagnosis.

Patty is survived by siblings Eileen Izatt (Raymond), Joseph Dooley (Maureen). She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Kathleen Kufner (Richard) and parents Joseph and Patricia Dooley. She is also survived by nieces Jenny, Megan and Maureen, nephew Patrick and four grandnieces and six grandnephews. 

She was born in Astoria, NY, later moving to Baldwin, NY graduating from Baldwin High School in 1975. After working in NYC and sailing the coasts of North and South America, she relocated to Phoenix in 1993. Patty worked as a paralegal for several Phoenix law firms before finding her home at Snell & Wilmer where she was employed for 21 years. Patty enjoyed watching the growth of her beloved Arizona over the past three decades. She was well loved by her many friends, coworkers, and neighbors in Uptown Phoenix. 

A memorial service and wake is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N Central Ave, starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patty’s name can be made to White Dove Thrift Shoppes which supports Hospice of the Valley, https://hov.org/donate/donate-now/.
