Paula Myers Masland

Paula Myers (Johnson) Masland went peacefully to heavenly father on June 10, 2024 at age 74 with closest friends Laura and Tom at her side. Paula was the third oldest of 12 children to Clifford and Marian Myers. Born in Chicago, Paula called Arizona home for the greatest portion of her life. She graduated from Gerard Catholic High School and went on to the University of Arizona. While in Tucson she would meet and later marry Malcolm Johnson. They would have two sons, Robert and Adam.

Paula’s major love in life was being a grandma, nothing was better. With a can of Play-Doh new adventures were created. Paint just didn’t belong on paper, it went on everything. No matter what injuries happened, Dr. Pig was there to the rescue and thank goodness for sippy cups.

Paula love to craft, drink coffee, try new recipes, watch British TV mysteries and nap with her dog. Christmas was a favorite holiday. Paula loved to make wreaths, buy presents and be with her family. Paula loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by sons Robert (Kim) Adam (Olya), grandchildren, Megan, Adam, Zach and Sophia, siblings, Marian, Ann, Chet, Gerard, Deedee, Matt, Sydney, John, Dan and Sally - numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, youngest sister Melinda and husbands Malcolm Johnson and Kevin Masland.

The celebration of Paula‘s life will be held June 23, 2024 at 10 AM at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018, reception will follow.
