Pauline Rollman, 90, of Phoenix, AZ died on November 16, 2023 due to complications of a long journey with Dementia. Pauline was born in Greenwich Township, PA and was the dearly loved wife of George Rollman for 63 years until George’s death. She served in the critical role of a military wife, supporting George in his Air Force career, raising their two daughters through two deployments, and making numerous moves to new locations based upon military needs.
Upon arrival into Phoenix, Pauline worked in the retail industry, first for Diamond’s department store and then for Dillard’s, each time in the women’s dress department where she thoroughly enjoyed both her customers and the changing fashions.
Pauline and George shared a love of travel, experiencing many different locales and cultures. Most especially, Pauline was known for her cooking, from the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dishes of her childhood to experimenting with new recipes. Among her family’s favorites were her pecan, strawberry glaze, and lemon meringue pies, which George enthusiastically consumed.
Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Craven and Pamela Hart, their spouses, Robert and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Paul (Adrien), Michael (Anna), Kristina (Matt), Justine (Edward), and Kathryn (Sefa); as well as 10 great grandchildren, Joel, Josiah, Eleanor, Dax, Brooks, Nohea, Mitchell, Naya Rose, Mackenzie, and Zoe. Also are her surviving siblings, Arlene, Larry, Gerald, Marie and Karen; siblings Ruth and Warren preceded her in death.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the full staff, as well as the doctors, for the kindness and care Pauline received at Huger Mercy Living Center, who have become extended family. Services are private.
Memorial donations may be made to Huger Mercy Living Center Activity Fund, c/o Virginia Abel, 2345 W. Orangewood Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85021.
