Magda was born in Havana, Cuba on May 25, 1930 and went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2018 at 87 years of age. She came to the U.S. in 1960, where she lived a charming and wonderful life. She was a beloved wife to her late husband, Bobby, for 60 years; and also a beloved sister to her late brother, Tony and her late sister, Aleida. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Ramona and her daughter Cecilia and her husband Robby; also three granddaughters, Christina, Erin and Elise, and three great-grandchildren, Jace, Maya and Crue.
Magda was a housewife most of her life and her passions were her Catholic faith, cooking authentic Cuban and Spanish cuisine and enjoying spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time overlooking the beach in San Diego and traveling to New York. She will always be missed and forever loved by all her family and friends and may God grant her peace and all the blessings given by God’s perfect grace.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, in Phoenix. A private gathering is planned for the family where Magda will be placed beside her husband, Bobby, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
