Karsten Osby Peterson, 58, entered into eternal rest January 13, 2020, at his home in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by family and friends.
Karsten was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Phoenix, Arizona at a young age. He pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration at Northern Arizona University and received his Master of Business Administration in Real Estate at Arizona State University. He had a very successful career in Commercial Real Estate and was recognized as a top producer for over 30 years. He retired from Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in December 2019. Karsten’s love for travel enabled him to see all parts of the world from Europe to all over North America, including Mexico. There was not a trip or destination he didn’t consider. There will always be a special place in his heart for Estero Morua, in Sonora Mexico. Having visited there as a small child and throughout his adult life, it is here where his heart lies. Everything for Karsten was on the bucket list, just live your life and follow your passions. He fulfilled many of these items by golfing at some of the most prestigious golf courses in Ireland and California. Karsten was also a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed fantasy football season. Karsten will always be remembered for his love of music, his thrill to travel to new and old destinations, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Karsten leaves behind his parents, Jack and Diane Peterson, siblings, Jana and Mark, his wife Stacey, and his beautiful daughter Sierra. He also leaves behind his nephews; Karsten Sellers, Cole Harper, Zach Harper, Ronald Hoehn, Matthew Hoehn, nieces; Kaare Sellers, Sage Peterson, and Madison Peterson as well as numerous friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th St., Phoenix, AZ, with Pastor Rick Sherrill officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Arizona Country Club, 5668 E. Orange Blossom Lane, Phoenix, AZ.
