86, of Phoenix, passed away on October 24, 2016. Don to his friends, was born in Omaha NE and came to Phoenix in 1960. Don was a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the V.A. Health Care System. Don loved to fly planes and was a barn stormer. He loved photography and the arts. He was a member of the Phoenix Symphony and a member of the Phoenix Art Museum. A graduate of St. Pat’s High School in North Platte, NE and Regis College in Denver, CO and received his Master’s Degree from ASU and later, taught there. He was a season ticket holder and an avid fan of both ASU and the Arizona Cardinals. He was an officer and a member of the Phoenix Friends of Jung. Don was faithful to his religion and had a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his daughters Alice Kathleen “Kat” Keating, Kathleen Feeken, two sisters, Cam French and Carole Andrews and many dear friends, to include Phyllis Ashley. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley.
