Stanley G. Prosak, 97, passed away April 25, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise, granddaughter Samantha Naples, sisters Leonora Norwood and Mickey Lenkowicz.
Born in New York City on June 19, 1921, Stanley was raised between New York City and Flemington, New Jersey. Stanley served his country in World War II. He was a drafting engineer by trade working for Sperry Rand Corporation and Paramount Designs. He married Louise and resided in Long Island, NY and Phoenix, Arizona. Together they raised five children, Gregory (Marge), Oklahoma City OK, Victor (Carol), San Jose CA, Mary Nosewicz (Dan), Palm Coast FL, Anne Naples, Syracuse NY and Chris (Maggie), Jamesville NY. His greatest passions were his faith and family. He loved traveling to see his grandchildren, Greg, Teri, Kristin, Tracy, Jason, Megan, Keith, Tara, Maire, Kallen, Emma and Nora; ten great grandchildren; along with nephews, Stanley Lenkowicz and Dennis Norwood; and nieces, Maryann Wegrzyn and Janet Scarpelli.
He would notoriously greet his family at the airport in fake teeth, nose and mustache glasses. His sense of humor was the cornerstone of his entire persona and Stanley is survived by the countless stories, videos, pictures and memories of the joy he brought to everyone around him. Services are private, burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, Arizona.
