Guadalupe Lopez Quihuis

Lupe Quihuis was born March 23, 1918 and went to be with our Lord on November 6, 2016. She was raised on a ranch in west Phoenix and attended Murphy Elementary School. Lupe did not attend high school so she could help on the ranch. She met Lionel Quihuis at church and after a courtship, they married on January 19, 1941 and raised nine children. Lupe loved to sing and was part of the St. Mark’s choir for many years. She was a beautiful wife and mother and joins Lionel and her son David in Heaven. Lupe is survived by her children Frances Serrano, Lionel, Lupe Garcia, George, Pete, Fred, Marie Mendia, Mark and her sister Juanita Bartlett. Twenty grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and eleven great – great grandchildren.
