Ralph A. Marrujo

Ralph A. Marrujo, age 84, passed away peacefully at hospice on July 23, 2024. Born in Jerome, Ralph moved in his early teens with his family to Phoenix where he attended St. Mary’s High School. It was there that he fell head over heels for his future wife, Brenda. They married shortly after high school, and together embarked on a 64-year journey of life and love together, raising their family in Phoenix, and later, Scottsdale. In addition to his devoted wife, Ralph is survived by his sons Tony Marrujo and Joe Marrujo, daughter Theresa Weitzel, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Babe and Marion Marrujo, brother Charlie and son Danny. A loving husband and father, and a proud and attentive grandfather and great-grandfather, Ralph was at his happiest when spending time with his family, immediate and extended. His love was unconditional, true and steadfast…leaving an indelible imprint on all those who were fortunate to love him back. 

Services for Ralph will be on August 2, 2024 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, with visitation and rosary from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial of life celebration and scripture service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix.
