Leo Morales Ramos, born November 21, 1941 went to his final resting place on January 5, 2018. Leo was married to his beloved wife Bonnie, and was by her side throughout every day of those years. It was unusual to see one without the other. Leo is survived by his five children; Leo, Jonathan, Trent Matheson (preceded in death), Bernadette Star, Michele Marie, and Emery Nathaniel. He leaves behind eleven grandchildren; Erica, Giovanna, Felicia, Anthony, Chantel, Jesse, Justin, Matthew, Jayla, Kayley, and Fayth; and two great-grandchildren; Tatiana and Greyson. A former Marine of the Third Battalion, 364th Platoon, who served in Vietnam and returned home, with a rank of Sargent E-5, so we could raise our family. His heart was bigger than life itself. There wasn’t a time when he wouldn’t offer a hand to anyone in need, opening our home to families that needed a bed and roof over their heads. He even handed out food to strangers passing by our home. Leo Morales Ramos worked very hard to provide for his family in every way. His smile and laugh were contagious. His spirit will continue to touch the lives of everyone he knew. According to Leo: “Keep Christ in your life, love in your heart and family all around you.” Mi querido Viejo.
