Raquel Otilia Flores

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raquel Otilia Flores, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us far too soon on April 20th, 2025 at the age of 44.

Born on January 19th, 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona, Raquel brought light and love into the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted partner to Christopher Salas Sr. and mother to Christopher Jr, Angelique, Izayah and Jazmine for whom she loved with endless passion and care. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her boundless energy, kindness, and strength into their lives every day.

Raquel was also a cherished daughter to Tommy Flores, Rebecca Martinez and stepfather Raul Martinez and a beloved sister to Sabrina. Raquel was preceded in death by her father, Tommy.

Her laughter and vibrant spirit created an unbreakable bond within her family that will live on in their hearts forever. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to shine brightly. Her spirit will live on in her children, her family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

We will forever cherish her beautiful soul and carry her memory with us always.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, April 30th from 4pm to 7pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Funeral services will follow on Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with burial at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery.
