Laura Ann Raskin

Laura Ann left this life, January 26, 2013 in the arms of her husband as he guided her to heaven’s door.  Born March 4, 1932 in Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of Kathleen (Friel) Meredith of Moncton N.B. Canada and J. Shelton Meredith of Harodsberg, KY. Married to Dick Raskin on May 29, 1951, together they had a rich life in the cattle business for 50 years.  Laura Ann’s pride and joy was her family and home.  Her gales of laughter and her infamous apple pies for every family occasion will be missed.  She leaves behind her husband Dick, three children, Kathy Madison, Rick Raskin, and Mary Ann Raney, seven children and five great-grandchildren.  A Private family memorial will be held.  Laura Ann’s final resting place will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ.  Donations to Sunrise Hospice, 1840 E.
