Ervin Borge Rasmussen

Pastor Ervin B. Rasmussen, former Executive Director of the Lutheran Evangelism Association/Prayer Family International, went home to his Lord and Savior on February 12, 2014.  He was born June 18, 1928 to Martin and Wilhelmina Rasmussen in Milwaukee, WI.  Both his parents and his sister Emily preceded him to heaven.  He is survived by his wife Beverly and children Beth (Jerry) Lowery, Phoenix; Marty (Kim) Rasmussen, Albuquerque, NM; Rev. Christian Rasmussen, Brighton, CO; and Thea (William) Rappuhn of White House, TN.  There are four grandchildren, Jacob and Noah Rasmussen of Albuquerque, NM and Jaxon and Danielle Rappuhn of White House, TN.  A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 23, at 7:00pm at Christ Church Lutheran, 3901 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.  Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran School Scholarship Fund or Hospice of the Valley.
