Shawn Kristin Reaves

50, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on April 13, 2017, after battling cancer, and is now at peace with the Lord. Shawn was a great mother, wife and friend. She was truly beloved by all who met her, and touched many. Shawn was born in Portland, OR, where much of her extended family still lives. Shawn is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Courteney and Lilly, David her husband, her mother Jodie, father Rob, sisters Kimberley, Debbie and Erika, nieces Kassia, Samantha, Kendal, Katrina, Marissa, Brianna and Ella, as well as nephews Mason, Erik and Alex. Shawn lived in Phoenix for most of her life, attending Central High School and ASU. Shawn was very passionate about her family, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School, PANDA, the Arizona Cardinals, and of course, her tennis. When things needed to be done, Shawn was the go-to person! Funeral Mass for Shawn will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, on Saturday April 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Shawn’s name to PANDA/University of Arizona Steele Children’s Research Center, or to the St. Mary’s Food Bank.
