Mary (Mcgowan) Rhadigan Regis

age 86, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014.  She was born to the late Nicholas McGowan and Helen Heron McGowan on December 12, 1927.

Ms. Regis grew up in Bordentown, NJ and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.  She received multiple commendations for her nursing work in obstetrics, personal home care and the Clearbrook adult community in Monroe Township, NJ.  She is the mother to Nicholas Ratigan of Bordentown, NJ and Betsy Rhadigan Brady of Chandler, AZ, and stepmother to John and William Ratigan.

Mary enjoyed tending her magnificent rose garden and painting landscapes in oils.  She adored all kinds of dogs, and lovingly bred them for a time.  She was a devout Catholic with a great love for the Jewish faith and people.

She is survived by her brother Joseph McGowan, her son and daughter, and her grandchildren John and Molly Brady, and Nicole, Krysten, Jayson, Amy, Moriah, Faith and Haley Ratigan.  She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces and nephews and friends. Mary requested to return to her family home, and so a funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ on Saturday, July 19
