In Loving Memory of Rhonda K. Alexander

Rhonda K. Alexander, a cherished mother, grandmother, and pillar of love and faith, peacefully transitioned surrounded by her devoted family. Her life was a beautiful testament to unwavering strength, boundless kindness, enduring patience, and unshakable hope. Rooted in her steadfast faith, she exemplified love and dedication to her family, friends, and community.

Born into a loving family, Rhonda carried forward a legacy of compassion and grace. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Robert L. Alexander, Jr., her treasured son, Koakbar "Ko" Alexander, three brothers and three sisters. Their reunion in the heavenly realms brings comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Rhonda’s memory is lovingly carried forward by her surviving children: Kigonia McMillan, Robert III (Avis) Alexander, Kuntay (Tammara) Alexander, and Yolanda "YoK" Alexander. She was the proud and loving grandmother of seven grandchildren: Jamila, Crystal, Savannah, Timothy, Josiah, Emmanuel, and Joannah, who brought immense joy to her life. Her sisters, Emma Mullen and Rose Osborne, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all treasure her memory.

Her nurturing spirit, radiant smile, and unwavering faith made an indelible impact on everyone she encountered. Rhonda’s life was a beacon of light, her legacy shining brightly through her children, grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched.

Rhonda dedicated 20 years of service to the United States Postal Service, a career marked by diligence and commitment. She was also a devoted homemaker who championed education, instilling in her children and grandchildren the value of knowledge and perseverance. As First Lady of the Reverend’s Evangelist Faith Ministry, she walked faithfully beside her husband, serving with humility and grace.

In her leisure, Rhonda found joy in sewing, bargain shopping, and taking long walks that nourished her spirit. Her adventurous heart carried her to exotic destinations by air and to every corner of the continental United States. She delighted in reading the “Welcome” signs at state borders during her travels, a small tradition that brought excitement and joy to her journeys and those who accompanied her.

Her creative voice lives on through music, as she lovingly recorded two songs in the studio—a reminder of the joy and inspiration she shared through her talents.

As we bid farewell, we take solace in knowing Rhonda now rests in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband and son. Her spirit continues to inspire us to live with love, hope, and faith.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
