Arthur Charles Riedmann

93, of Phoenix, passed away August 6, 2015. He was born October 28, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Theresa Riedmann. He attended Bishop Laughlin High School. He came to Arizona in 1968. Arthur married Sally Short, his wife of 60 years, in 1955. He was a retired Insurance Agent since 1997. He was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister and was a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul for many years. He is survived by his wife Sally, children William, Nancy McVeigh (Andy), Eileen Preiss (Ted), Lawrence (Lesan), John, James, Karen, Deborah, Kathleen Micklos (James), 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Fr. Boniface.  Family requests donations to St. Vincent de Paul in his name. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2015 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
