Roberto Flores

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father Roberto Rivera Flores, who left us on August 11, 2024, at 8 AM at the age of 77. He was surrounded by his loving family, Linda, Sue Flores, Roberto Flores Junior, Danny, Rivera Flores Dolores, Ann Flores, Anna Marie Flores Margarita Adele Flores in his final moments. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Robert was a Green Beret in the Vietnam War. 

He was a father of six children and raised his family earnestly with love and dedication. Roberto is survived by his children from the eldest to the youngest; Linda Sue Flores, Dolores Ann Flores, Robert Jr. Flores, Anna Marie Flores, Daniel Rivera Flores, and Margarita Adele Flores, his mother and father Margarita, Rivera Flores and Elmo Flores.

He was a man of immense humor a man of wisdom integrity was a strong, tough man to raise for four girls, and two boys all on his own and he made it happen cherishing every moment spent with our father forever in our heart and never forgotten. We love you, daddy.  Our treasured and handsome father may you finally rest in peace.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 13th from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix, AZ 85018. Burial to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phx., AZ 85024.
