Margarita Apodaca Romero

Margarita Apodaca Romero ,97 of Glendale, AZ, passed away on October 14, 2018. She was born in Miami, Arizona to David and Julia Apodaca Perez. As a young girl Margarita had to quit school to go to work to help her family. She worked many years in a laundry taking great pride in all that the she did. She is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Gustavo Romero. Margarita is survived by her loving family, son Benny Valencia (Mary), grandchildren Linda Valencia and Daniel Valencia, great grandchildren Ashley Valenzuela, Christopher Valencia and Daniel Valencia as well as 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018. Visitation from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a Catholic Memorial Service at Noon at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Margarita was truly loved and will be missed by her loving family and friends. Vaya con Dios Margarita.
