Rosaline “Rosie” Habib Bousard, 91 years old of Phoenix, AZ, peacefully passed away on August 1, 2024. She was born on May 15, 1933, to her parents Rev. George Habib and Frances Kacere in Charleston, West Virginia.
Her family moved to Arizona in 1951 and became strong members of the St. George Orthodox Community in Phoenix still to this day.
Rosie was a woman of great faith, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She spent decades placing people in jobs all around Arizona and loved being able to help people in their careers. In her retired years, she did puzzles almost daily and loved to send the finished products to family and friends by text. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Bousard) Baker, son-in-law Jeff, and grandchildren Madeline and Edward, her sisters Sharon Daniolos (Nick) and Christine Elliott (Steve) and their respective children and spouses, George Daniolos (Katy), Stefanos Daniolos (Tiffany), Amy Pohl (Christopher), Annie Wiechert and her grand nieces and nephews who she adored Eleni Daniolos, Anna Daniolos, Thomas Daniolos, Nicholas Daniolos and Gavin Wilson.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4520 E. Gold Dust Ave, in Phoenix. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave, in Phoenix. In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to St. George or Hospice of the Valley.
