BUTLER, ROSEMARY E. (nee Uecker), of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024.
Born to August and Mary (Schultz) Uecker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 17, 1938. Rosemary lived a full life of love and laughter. She had a knack of being the life of any party – you always knew when Rosemary was in the room with her wonderful sense of humor, sarcasm and quick wit. Rosemary was employed by the Sheraton Hotel in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for 20+ years while her children were young. She enjoyed lots of laughs and met many friends during her career there. After her three boys were grown, Rosemary went back to school to further her education. In June of 1995 she moved to the warmth of Phoenix, Arizona. There she enjoyed a career caring for others with her extraordinary gift of compassion.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, sister Barbara Jean, sister-in-law Joyce Uecker, brother-in-law Tom Haley, niece Leann Uecker-Ziemer and nephew Steve Uecker.
Rosemary will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have been a part of her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her children; Chris, Tim (Carol) and Jeff (Ellen), her brother Bob Uecker (Judy) and sister Carol Haley. Also remembered by grandchildren, Tyler (Megan), Danny, Jenna, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Thanks to Francis and his care team at Regency Adult Care Home for providing wonderful care to Rosemary. Also, a very special thank you to Taylor Cohen for his beloved friendship and companionship to Rosemary over the past several years.
