It is with deepest sadness that we share the passing of Ruben Felix Alejandro Lopez, a cherished soul who graced this world with his presence for 45 years. On May 8th, 2024, in Chandler, Arizona, Ruben embarked on his next journey, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched the lives of many. Born on September 28th, 1978, in Phoenix, Arizona, to his parents Maria Woodard and Robert Nolasco Lopez, Ruben's essence lives on through the love he shared with his dear Mother, two sisters, four brothers, and his beloved son Carson, who held a special place in his heart. 

Ruben was a beacon of light as a Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend, endearing himself to all who crossed his path. A proud native of Phoenix and an alumnus of McClintock High School, he ventured into the field of sales. An avid sports enthusiast, Ruben found joy in playing soccer and golf, his spirit aligned with love for the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals. Additionally, His love for music and DJ’ing added another dimension to his personality, showcasing his creativity and love for bringing people together through music.

As we navigate this time of sorrow, let us hold dear the memories of Ruben's kindness, passion for sports, and the profound impact he had on those around him. Though his physical presence may have departed too soon, the essence of Ruben Felix Alejandro Lopez will forever reside in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him. 

Family and friends are invited to honor Ruben's memory at the visitation and Rosary, to be held on Friday, May 17th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phx, AZ 85018, offering a space for all to gather from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by Mass from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Reception will be held at 364 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix.
