Ruby Gonzales

Ruby Gonzales, 88, of Phoenix, a devoted wife and retired schoolteacher, died November 9, 2023, in Scottsdale, AZ.  She was born October 14, 1935, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, to Pete Antonio Lovato and Ruth O. Lovato as the eldest daughter of 17 children. Known as the sweetest, most selfless and giving person, Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her husband of 60 years, John L., a retired pharmacist and musician.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, followed by a rosary at 10:30 a.m. and memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
