Mercedes Nieves Ruiz

Mercy N. Ruiz, born in Phoenix, Arizona to Manuel and Elvira Ruiz in 1943, passed away on June 14, 2018. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and continued her education at Phoenix College. She retired from Motorola, but later acquired a position at Creighton School Transportation Department, where she worked with special needs children. Mercy is survived by sisters Vera Garcia and Gerry Ruiz-Green, nephews Mark Ruiz, Ernest Garcia and Manuel Garcia and many cousins. Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery (Gate 2 entrance). Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com
