Roberta “Bobbie” Saddik passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 19, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on January 22, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona to parents, Howard and Patricia Young. The oldest of four children, Bobbie was a mother before her time, helping to raise and manage the other children. Bobbie married the love of her life, Abdul Saddik, on May 16, 1969 and their love affair lasted over 52 years – producing two amazing daughters, Amna and Sarah. Bobbie was the manager of the KFC in Globe, Arizona “unofficial hometown” for many years and during that time she touched and improved the lives of her employees and regular customers. She carried that same personal touch and dedication to the United States Post Office in Globe, from where she eventually retired. Bobbie LOVED to watch her children and grandchildren compete in youth sports, especially softball. Her cries of encouragement were ever present. Bobbie is survived by her husband Abdul, the aforementioned two amazing daughters Amna and Sarah, one son-in-law Javier, and five granddaughters Mary, Amanda, Lily, Chloe, and Kamryn. She will be reuniting with beloved siblings Donna, Tony, and Cheryl and mother Patricia in Heaven. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 A.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
