Adelina Robledo San Felice broke her earthly bonds and entered into glory on Christmas morning surrounded by her loving family. Born in Clifton, Arizona in 1919, she lived her entire life in Phoenix and proudly worked for many years at Maricopa County Hospital in various positions. Adelina, our “Neenie” was a loving, giving woman who devoted her entire life to caring for others; as a nanny in her youth, for her aging father, for her husband through his illness, and in caring and helping raise many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a spiritual mother to many. She was a woman of faith and an example of unconditional love and acceptance. Everyone was received into her home with love, warm tortillas and abundant food. We loved to hear stories of the Phoenix of her youth, of a time when everyone knew one another. She had a keen memory and sharp wit to the end. Preceded in death by her husband’s Jimmy Robledo and Louis San Felice. She was the sole surviving sibling of Julia Diaz, Josephine Leal, Eliceo Apodaca, and Rogue Yanez. Left to mourn her absence are her devoted children Ron and Betty Castillo, grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with many loving nieces and nephews in Arizona and California. Vaya con Dios querida Adelina De Colores. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Avenue, Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
