Loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Aunt

In Memory of Mary Agnes Louise Sanchez

Mary Agnes was born on January 27, 1964 and went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2021. She was born in Albuquerque, NM and resided in both Albuquerque, NM and Phoenix, AZ the majority of her life. She is survived by her Mother Margaret (Margie) Romero, her eldest son, Joseph Zamora and partner Sara Fortuna daughter Krystal Donley and husband Lauren Donley along with her grandchildren Zachary, Katrina, Alexander, Scarlett and Cayden, sister Darlene and James Jasler, sister Bernadette and Alonzo Lobato, Sister Benita Romero and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Angela Chavez, Sister, Bennie Romero, Dad and Orlando Sanchez, Brother.

“Mary was a beautiful soul. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t try to give you, even if it meant she’d do without. She was full of charisma, and she loved to be the center of attention. Believe me when I say she made sure she was. Even when her life was not going right, she still managed to smile and would try to make you feel good. I looked up to Mary in so many different ways. She brought us our first nephew. She found out she was pregnant the day our sister Angela passed away. Joseph was the light of our lives after losing our sister. He filled that void with love. Then later came Krystal, what another gift of joy. Years later came Nickolas. Mary was the first in our family to receive a college degree. We were all so proud of her. When we were little, we would make up dances to songs and we would play outside until it got dark. Most of the time we got into trouble for that. We were five siblings with unconditional love for each other. We loved to go to prayer meetings, we would sing from our hearts as loud as we could. We all loved and had the love of God in our lives. We went to church every Sunday, but that was not enough for us. We wanted to go to bible study at a Baptist church. So, after Catholic Church on Sunday’s a bus would pick us up and we would go to praise God more. Mary was so full of love, she made sure you knew she loved you by telling you, showing you, and messaging you how she felt for you. Mary had a hard cross to carry when we lost our dad, she hit rock bottom. Mary changed her life recently and decided to do it right. She found love, peace, and happiness. Mary you were the light of my life. You will always be with us; you were too beautiful of a person to forget. Until we meet again my beautiful sister. I will love you forever.”

“Mary Agnes you always had a generous heart and you took part of us with you! Love you always, –

Mom

“Mary and I spent a lot of time together when we were teens. I was not allowed to go anywhere unless I took you with me…. mom didn’t realize that you were the one that needed to be watched over…. (LOL) but without you I would not have had so many interesting teenage experiences. Dangerous, exciting, and crazy times. When you became a mother, you were loving and caring. But you were also stingy with your kids…. we would had to beg you to let us take them for a night. I have so many happy memories that I will keep close to my heart forever. I love you Mar, no more pain. No more tears. No more heartbreak. Rest In Peace my beautiful sister. Always and Forever, –

your big sister Darlene

Mom

, you were my greatest teacher in life. Your smile was magnetic. You were more than a mother; you were a friend and a confidant. The world will be a little less bright without you in it. Your spirit kept your body alive, despite all of ailments. Selfishly, I will miss you, but I know you are no longer suffering and that gives me peace. Thank you for making me the mother, wife and professional I am. You always wanted the best things in life for us and you did everything you could to give it to us.

We love you

,

We will miss you always
