Pedro Jr. Sanchez

Pedro Sanchez Jr. was called home by his Heavenly Father on June 1, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 73. He was born November 9, 1943 in El Paso, TX. Pedro is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lydia Sanchez, and his 5 children: Antonio Payan (Vickie), Pedro Sanchez III (Stephanie), Francisco Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez, and Crystal Sanchez. He is also survived by sisters Alice Escobedo, Teri Morales (Robert), Herlinda Samaniego, Martha Hidalgo, Dora Esparza (Neto), and 7 grandchildren (Nick, Ariel, Gabriel, Alyssa, Ricky, Lucia, and Pete IV). He was preceded in death by his mother Esperanza Samaniego, father Pedro Sanchez, and daughter Siboney Sanchez. Pedro was a devout catholic and spent most of his free time doing what he loved most – composing, singing, and playing guitar during masses for St. Marks, Sacred Heart, and other parishes in the community. While he lies in peaceful sleep, his memory we shall always keep.

Visitations will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Rosary will begin at 6:00 P.M.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Pedro’s life will begin at 10:30 A.M. the following day, Monday, June 12, 2017,
