De Moreno Ricarda Santana

Ricarda Santana came into this world on January 4, 1958. She went to her Eternal home on August 17, 2020. Ricarda was a Wife, Mother of 5, Grandmother of 7, advocate for all of her family, a great friend, consistent in her work, and strong in her faith. She was born in Jojutla, Morelos, Mexico and was raised in the same area. She met her husband Jesus Moreno as a young woman, and they became lifelong partners. Their marriage lasted 44 years until Jesus went to his Lord in August of 2019. Ricarda worked at the Phoenician Resort until the day of her passing, steadfastly working for the same resort for 35 years.

Her love and passion were her children: Maria, Jose, Dalia, Gloria, and Alma. Being that her children were the loves of her life; her 7 grandchildren were the joy in her life.

She was a strong member of her Christian congregation and relied on her faith to get through all of the challenges of life. Ricarda will be missed by those whose life she touched. Now she rests with the God of her faith and with those loved ones who went on before her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. A Graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
