Mariangela N. Santo, “Mary Santo” was born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 7, 1925.
Mariangela was a long-time resident of Scottsdale, AZ. She passed away in her home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her family.
Mariangela was a cosmetologist, an avid bingo player, thrift shopper and devout Catholic. At church she was actively involved in the Pray Shawl group making crocheted blankets and hats.
She loved to travel all over the world. She recently went to Todi Italy to our family home in May 2023.
Mariangela is survived by her four children Francine, William, Terese, Rachelle; grandchildren Kristy, Amanda, Jordan, Brandon; great grandchildren Carson, Grace, Matix, Vincent, Roman, Antonio, Francesca; great great grandchild Emersyn.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. to include rosary prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, in Phoenix. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Daniel the Prophet Roman Catholic Church at 1030 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Burial to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix. Condolences may be expressed at www.whitneymurphyfuneralhome.com.
