Sheila Anna Prince

The death has occurred of Sheila Anna Mary Prince, née Hoban, aged 89, originally from Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland, then Lake Barrington, Illinois, and lately of Scottsdale, Arizona. Sheila was living with Alzheimer’s disease and died after a short illness early on the morning of Thursday 3rd April 2025, at Sage House care home, Phoenix.

Sheila is survived by her loving sister Geraldine and brother Tommy of Dublin, Ireland and sister Mary in Florida, and by her many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in the US, in Ireland and around Europe, and in Australia. Preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob), sister Evelyn, and brothers Sean and Michael.

A memorial service will be held for Sheila on the morning of Thursday, April 10th at 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7655 East Main Street, Scottsdale, after which Sheila’s remains will be interred at St. Francis Cemetery, North 48th Street, Phoenix.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and healthcare team at Sage House for their wonderful kindness to Sheila over the past year.
