Margie B. Sirwaitis

87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 24th, 2016. Margie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from North High School, and worked at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church for 14 years, where she was a dedicated parishioner. She was a loving wife, and mother of 7. Margie is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Pauline, brother Robert, husband Joseph, and infant son Brian. She is survived by her children, Kathy, Ron (Becky), Peggy (Robert), Nancy (Lou), Paulette (Bob), and Marcy (Jeff), 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, sister Mary Lou, and her beloved cat, Lacey. Margie will be greatly missed, and will live on through all who loved her. A Visitation will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 28

, 2016 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 29th at 10:30 AM at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. She will be laid to rest at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix. Margie had a very special place in her heart for taking care of and helping stray cats.
