82, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully at the side of his loving wife Emily of 58 years, on August 13, 2014. Vincent served in the Navy, is a veteran of the Korean War and was an ASU alumni.  He taught 7

grade science at Pima and Mohave Schools in the Scottsdale School District. His love of airplanes, photography and woodworking and love for his family was evident throughout his life. He is survived by his loving wife Emily, daughters Susan Read, Judy Adamec, sons-in-law Bruce Read and Mike Adamec, and grandchildren Heather, Chris, Tyler, Brenden, Sadie, Abby and Ben. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00-8:00pm, with a scripture service at 7:00pm, on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.  Funeral Mass is at 10:00am, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 East Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley.  Burial will take place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley Gardiner Home or the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
