Elvira Sesma Soto

Age 77, in loving communion with our Lord, went home on April 6, 2017. She was born on October 24, 1939 in Superior, Arizona. Elvira graduated from Saint Francis Xavier High School. Her proudest accomplishment was helping her family of six to grow in the light of God.   We could always count on Auntie Vera for Birthday and Christmas cards filled with her loving prayers and thoughts. One of her fondest memories was her creation of a (Yum Yum) Christmas Tree for her family. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Ernest, sons, Ernest, Jr. (Portia), Arnold (Ida), daughter Therese Soto and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher. We will always love you Mom, Auntie Vera. Visitation will be held from 5:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24
