, 2016, Eva left this world to fall back into the arms of our Lord. Eva was a stylish woman and a caregiver’s caregiver. As the 4th child of 11, she helped care for her younger brothers and sisters, and later, her husband, son and mother-in-law. She doted on and was devoted to them all. Eva was a perfect homemaker with a flair for cooking and baking, all while maintaining her immaculate sense of style. Eva was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, her brothers George, Jimmy and Gus, and sisters Marie, Violet and Stella. She is survived by her sisters Helen and Katherine, brothers Paul and Harry, son James (Christina), grandchildren Genevieve and Athanassi, and many adoring nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM with a Trisagion at 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland, Phoenix. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Phoenix, AZ, or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
