Stacie Leslie Arviso

January 22, 1978 — October 15, 2024

Stacie L. Arviso, age 46, passed away peacefully in her home on October 15, 2024. She was born on January 22, 1978, in Gallup, New Mexico, to Arnold Arviso and Betty Chee, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Stacie spent her childhood in Crownpoint, NM, where she developed a love for music and running. As a child and into her teenage years, she participated in cross-country, excelling in the sport and embracing her love for the outdoors. Stacie also played the saxophone in her high school band, showcasing her musical talent. She graduated from Bostrom High School in Phoenix, AZ, in 1996 and went on to attend Phoenix College.

Stacie’s journey into the healthcare field began with her innate desire to care for others. She began working at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in 2005. As an Inventory Management Specialist, she played a crucial role in ensuring the needs of patients and medical staff were met. For nearly two decades, she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others. She found joy in her role, knowing that her efforts contributed to better care for those who needed it most. Her coworkers became like family, and Stacie often spoke of the joy she found in the teamwork and camaraderie they shared. Whether sharing a laugh or going the extra mile to help a colleague, Stacie’s presence made work a brighter place.

Stacie’s kindness and generosity weren’t limited to her professional life. She had an especially close bond with her nephew, Tristan Arviso, whom she raised from birth. As his caretaker and mother figure, Stacie devoted herself completely to Tristan, guiding him through life with love, wisdom, and unwavering support. She never hesitated to put him first, and they shared a relationship that went beyond the traditional roles of aunt and nephew. Tristan was her “crown jewel,” and she cherished every moment they spent together, from the simplest of conversations to the milestones she proudly celebrated alongside him. Stacie’s influence helped shape Tristan into the person he is today, and their bond will forever remain a cornerstone of his life.

Stacie had many passions that brought joy to her life. Every summer, she and her family took vacations, often camping together and participating in fishing competitions - some of her happiest memories were made on those trips. Stacie was also a talented cook who loved experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, always excited to share her creations with others. She had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats, and always had pets throughout her life. In her downtime, she enjoyed watching Marvel trilogies and Star Wars, finding comfort and excitement in her favorite films.

For those who knew Stacie, her compassion, strength, and warmth stood out. She had a special way of making others feel valued and supported, always lending a listening ear, or offering a comforting word when it was needed most. Her presence was a steady source of reassurance for friends and family alike. Whether in her professional role or personal life, Stacie’s ability to care for others was remarkable. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and love that will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.

Stacie is survived by her brothers, Ronn Arviso and Seth Arviso, her sisters, Donnaleigh Dedman and Amber Salazar, and her beloved nephew, Tristan Arviso, who will carry her memory forward. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will last forever.

A memorial service to honor Stacie’s life will be held at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix, on Friday, October 25th, at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
