Stephany (Mauck) Steele-Fajkowski

Stephany (Mauck) Steele-Fajkowski, 71, of Scottsdale, passed away on September 23, 2023 after a years-long battle with breast cancer. Stephany was born in Indiana and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona when she was two months old. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Stephany worked in the title insurance industry for many years before retiring to spend more time with her family. She was optimistic, adventurous, creative, and kind. She would tell you that she had a zest for life and loved traveling, gardening, holidays (especially Halloween), swimming, and animals. Stephany was a lifelong baseball fan who cheered on the Cubs, Diamondbacks, and Sun Devils and was a season ticket holder for many years. She was an avid reader, book collector, and enjoyed her book club. Stephany was especially generous and often sent surprises to family and friends (and their pets!) in the mail. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Ned, daughters Lauren and Blair (Brian Schleckser), and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ruth (Gulley) Mauck, and her brothers Geoffrey Mauck and Charles Michael “Mike” Mauck.  Services are private.
