Janice Stier passed away suddenly on May 3, 2018. She grew up in Greensfork, Indiana and moved as a teenager with her family to Richmond, Indiana where she met the love of her life Dale, they were neighbors. They married in 1958, had three children and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in August, 1970. She worked for AT&T. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Her house was the one all the kids gathered at. She loved a house full of kids. They all called her mom and she loved being mom to everyone. She loved her family, her friends, the Cardinals, The D-Backs; she has had D-Backs season tickets from the very first season and still does. She got to walk on the field in April and was telling everyone about it, she was so happy!!!! At home football games she was a tailgater with Tillman’s Troups. She was a true Arizona fan, she would let you know it if you put her teams and/or State down. She loved to travel. We had just gotten back from a long weekend trip to Las Vegas, she loved Vegas and she loved Myrtle Beach, SC. She always looked forward to the family Myrtle Beach trips. Everyone who knew her will love and miss her every day. She is in Heaven with dad, Dale E Stier, her parents, Clarence and Mary Hiday, her sister Kathy Keith and all of her beloved Aunts and Uncles. She leaves behind her daughters Cathy & Bob Powell, Diana & Steve Caster, her son Dale E Stier II, her granddaughter Paige Caster, two sisters Janet Richardson of Richmond, IN and Charlotte Mahin of Phoenix. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. There will be an open house Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 30th 11:00 to 4:30 P.M. so all may come and share memories.
