Ramona “Mona” Facio Suchil

Ramona Facio Suchil “Mona”, age 55 of Tempe, AZ was reunited with her parents, brother and family in Heaven on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Ramona was born in 1966 to Helen B. Facio and Frank S. Facio Sr. at Vandenberg Air Force Base California. She then moved to phoenix Arizona then to Tempe in the early 70’s where she spent her whole life raising her family. Mona loved her country music especially George Strait. Mona was that Mickey Mouse loving mom who would spoil and take care of all her children, nephews and nieces. Most of all she loved watching and raising her granddaughters. You would always find her with Zaria by her side within inches.

Surviving family are her sons Armando Placido Suchil and Andrew Michael Suchil her granddaughters Zaria Lourdes Suchil “Gorditas” Cataleya “Leya” Corona and Kalina “Lina” Corona, brothers Richard, Frank (Christina), Gabriel. Many nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and nieces.   She is preceded in death by her mother Helen B. Facio (2020), father Frank S. Facio (1995), her husband Armando Suchil (2011) and brother Michael A. Facio (2020).

She was a beloved, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Mona will truly be missed by all of her immediate and extended family as well as all of her friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4:30 -8:00 PM at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Road, Tempe. Immediately followed by interment at St. Francis Cemetery 2033 N. 48th St, Phoenix.
