Edward T. Sullivan

3/1/1945 – 4/30/2011. Ed passed suddenly after suffering a heart attack while doing what he loved best, serving others. He was deeply in love by his wife, Marie (Mary). He is survived by his wife and five children: Missy, Jeff, Crystal, Eddie Jeanie, three grandchildren, Emma, Cayden and Ethan; extended family in Minnesota: Jean Sullivan, Bob, Earl, Jim, Bill, Gert, Donovan & Lee Ann & families; nieces and nephews: Sherry, Pat, Earl, John, Mike, Andy, Pat, Trish, Pete, Cora, Katie, Chad, Ben, Gregg, Jayne and many others. He was the son of Francis Emmett & Pearl Ione and born in Austin, Minnesota. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Army. He was a teacher of K-8 through the Arcadia Neighborhood Learning Center. He was a beloved member of the Scottsdale Elks Lodge, #2148; Deede, Sherwood, John, Tim and many others there he loved dearly. He was active in Cub Scouts, a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, a volunteer coach at the Scottsdale Activities Club and coached the girl’s basketball team. The love of his life, other than his wife & family was hunting and fishing. God bless and Peace to you all. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Monday, May 9, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix. Interment will follow at 12:30pm, Monday, May 9, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Celebration of Life Reception to be held from 1:30p.m. to 4:00Pp.m. at the Scottsdale Elks Lodge #2148 located at 64th Street and Oak. The Family will be receiving visitors and food will be served.
