“Your wings were ready, but my heart was not.” — Unknown
Just three hours after coming into the world, Ezra William passed away peacefully with his parents by his side at Valley Wise Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. During that fleeting time, he touched many lives and was loved by all who met him.
Born only four days early, and weighing only 6 lbs, 13 oz, Ezra was still able to grip his mother’s finger and spend his brief stay on earth being held by her. He had plenty of dark hair and the acclaimed Williams’ blue eyes. He was born at 4:36 p.m. on March 2nd and passed away the same day at 7:42 p.m.
Ezra joins his great-grandmothers, Carole Rowe and Marie Williams, and great-grandfathers, Nelson Findlay and Robert Williams, in heaven. He is survived by his mother and father, Kristen Surovy-Whitt and Christopher Surran; his sisters, Ashlyn and Emma; his grandparents, Laurel and Don Williams; his aunt, Kendal (Eric) Scheblein; cousins, Jacob, Landon and Westin; and close family friends, Nicole Hanson and Sarah Timiney, whom eagerly awaited his arrival.
The family would like to thank the Valley Wise Medical Center staff for their effort and dedication, as well as Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix for their kind assistance.
