72, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2016. Born on March 24, 1943 to Orville R. and Viola Sutton. He was a great Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He was married 26 years to the love of his life, Amelia “Molly”. He served his country in the United States Army and is a Vietnam war veteran. Thomas received the Purple Heart with the Vietnam Red One Regiment. Thomas and Molly retired to Heber 10 years ago. He is survived by his wife Molly, children Andrea, Theresa, Matthew (preceded), Fred and Cynthia, grandchildren – 10, great grandchildren – 12, and one brother Russell Sutton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:30am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 N. Campbell Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
