Calandra Madrid Tallabas

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved Calandra Madrid Tallabas passed on July 29, 2023 at her home, age 45. She was such a beautiful child, born to Michael and Lucinda Tallabas on August 26, 1977. She is alongside her mother in heaven now, whom she loved dearly.

Calandra is survived by her son, Orlondo Tallabas, whom she adored with all her heart. As well as her father, Michael Tallabas, her grandfather, Antonio Tallabas, her brothers and sisters, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

She attended St. Jerome Elementary School, graduated from Xavier High School, and attended UofA. Calandra was a beautiful and intelligent woman, she had a great sense of humor and bubbly personality. She was very loving, creative and kind, ready to help her family and friends whenever needed.

She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever. We love you Calandra. There are no words to express the outpouring of love and support during this time but we are truly grateful. Thank you.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix AZ, 85018. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Services commence at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at St Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street Phoenix AZ. Reception to follow at the Legends Event Center, 4240 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix AZ, 85019.
