Margaret Curtis Davison Tancy

Margaret Curtis Davison Tancy, a native Arizonan, was born on June 25, 1919 to Eugene and Pearl Curtis of Thatcher, AZ. She died August 20, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray T. Davison and Fred L. Tancy and daughter, Vivian Marie. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Deanna Lee of Scottsdale, step-daughter Susan Olson of Dallas, Texas, 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a few great-greatgrandchildren. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 20, a Lady Elk and a member of the Valley Art League. Margaret had a zest for life and loved people. She was an avid fan of the Phoenix Suns and the AZ Diamond Backs. She loved the Arts, wrote poetry and started oil and pastel painting late in life. She became a professional Art Gallery Director and put on private art shows for professional artists. Her family was her life which she enjoyed to the fullest. Instead of flowers, please donate to a charity, crisis center or Hospice of the Valley. Visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 A.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Private Interment will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
