Martha Elizabeth Taylor

Martha Baker Taylor, born July 31, 1925 in Memphis, TN., passed away on June 14, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ.  She is predeceased by her husband Dan E. Taylor, and leaves behind her sister Alice Jean Clifton, Memphis, TN., and her sister-in-law Juanita Baker, of Phoenix, AZ., along with many nieces and nephews.  Martha was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years, and ran a clothing room and cooked for the homeless.  She currently attended St. Theresa Catholic Church where she served in Pastoral Care as a Kitchen Angel.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ.  Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48
