T.Ed Woods

T.Ed Woods was born December 16, 1936 in Tucson, Arizona and died September 18, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona.

 He is survived by his wonderful and loving wife Barby; children Tori Woods, Sue Holloway, Tim Woods, Kennith (K.C.) Woods (Pam), Mark Woods (Kerry), Dennis Woods (Traci); Stepdaughters Kelly Weinschenk (Bob), Jill Bergen (Andy), Katy Owens (Buddy); fifteen grandchildren Ryan (Cecillia), Jacob (Stephanie), J.T., Ashlynn (Jared), Megan (Austin), Nicole, Audrey, Dillon, Carson, Nolan, Will, Alec, Luke, Corbet, and Bonnie; two great-grandchildren Bryson and Nolan. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1959 and joined Motorola. He was with the Government Electronics Group in Scottsdale, Tempe and Chandler. In 1993 he and Barby moved to Chicago and in 1999 retired to Phoenix & Pinetop.

 He served on the board of the Scottsdale Boys Club, Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Chamber of Commerce.

 In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the UofA Cancer Center at https://give.uafoundation.org/cancer-center in honor of T.Ed Woods. 

 Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Conventual Church of Our Lady of the Angels, 5802 E Lincoln Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.
