Patricia L. Valenzuela

68, our beloved Daughter, Sister, Godmother and Aunt, has been set free to join our Heavenly Father on February 28, 2017. She was born August 3, 1948 in Walsenburg, CO, to Bernard and Virginia Maldonado. Patricia was the eldest of 6 siblings. She worked for Motorola for 30 plus years until her retirement in 1999. Patricia had no children of her own, but had many nieces and nephews with whom she shared a special bond and they will cherish many memories of her. She is preceded in death by her Husband Richard, Mother Virginia Maldonado and Brothers Michael and Joseph Maldonado. Left to cherish her memory are Sisters Catherine Guzman (Alfred), Sandra Barrera (Ricardo) and Lisa Sanchez (Carlos), Nieces and Nephews Dion, Eric (Godson), Michael, Bernard, Celeste, Rocky, Alex, Dolores, Carlos, Veronica (Goddaughter) and Lorenzo as well as many Great Nieces and Nephews as well. A special thank you to Hospice of the Valley (Dobson Home) for the loving care of Patricia. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
