Edward Herman Wachholz

Edward Herman Wachholz, 94, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on July 27, 2016. Ed was born on February 4, 1922 in Lagoa Vermelha, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Ed served honorably as a Lieutenant in the US Navy during WWII. In 1947, Ed became a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) where he served for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Monson) of 60+ years. He is survived by his three children, son David (wife Denise), Daughter Jane (husband Rich) and daughter Susan and four grandchildren, David, Jenna, Laurel and Autumn, as well as his three sisters, Elenore, Helen and Ruth. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 P.M., at Christ Church Lutheran, 3901 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran School, 3901 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85018. Arrangements entrusted to Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home.
